At Lemmy Create Art Studio, we offer open-ended art experiences rooted in process, play, and imagination. Our studio is designed to nurture the natural curiosity and creativity of young children through hands-on, sensory-rich, and sometimes delightfully messy opportunities to explore and express themselves.

  • Lemmy Create Art Studio is located in downtown Newmarket on Cedar Street.

  • For drop-in visits, please enter through our main entrance at the front of the studio on Cedar Street.

  • Municipal parking is available throughout downtown.

  • Strollers can be kept outside the studio; locks are available to borrow if needed.

Drop-In Rates

$23 + HST per person, per session

(Infants under 1 year are free with a paying sibling.)

Drop-ins are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, and entry isn’t guaranteed. We often reach capacity quickly — especially on weekends and school holidays.

We’re happy to add you to the waitlist if the studio fills up.

Our best advice? Plan your visit and arrive early to avoid disappointment!


Important Info for Drop-In Sessions

  • No food inside the studio. We don’t have a snack area, and all drinks must be kept and enjoyed in the entrance space.

  • Socks are required for all visitors — little ones and grownups too.

  • We reach capacity quickly, especially on weekends and school holidays. Arriving early is the best way to secure your spot and avoid disappointment

Suggested Drop-In Ages

We welcome children of all ages! Our studio is especially designed for young children who are walking and up, providing open-ended art and sensory experiences that spark curiosity and creativity.

Wear Clothes You Don’t Mind Getting Messy

At Lemmy Create Art Studio, creativity can get messy — and that’s part of the fun! We recommend dressing children (and adults!) in clothes you don’t mind getting paint, glue, or other art materials on.

It’s also a good idea to bring an extra set of clothes and socks, just in case little ones get fully absorbed in their creations. Smocks, aprons, and socks are also available for purchase in the studio.
